Accomplishments
I’ve spent years showing up for our neighborhoods, standing up when something isn’t right, and holding government accountable. I believe in common sense, local responsibility, and putting our communities first.
Community Leadership & Civic Advocacy
President, Essex Middle River Civic Council
Led one of Baltimore County’s most active civic organizations, representing residents across Middle River, Essex, and White Marsh on land use, zoning, infrastructure, and environmental issues.
Citizen of the Year – District 5 (2023 & 2024)
Recognized for sustained community advocacy, leadership, and service to local communities.
Land Use, Zoning & Smart Growth
Led the fight to stop the LaFarge Planned Unit Development (PUD)
Organized community opposition and advocacy that resulted in the PUD being killed and successfully promoted an eco-park concept, preventing heavy industrial development on approximately 60% of the property, while advocating that any future development put on the site include a direct new traffic connection to Route 43 to reduce neighborhood impacts.
Advocated for the Crane property to become a public park
Pressed county leadership to prioritize conservation, open space, and recreation over intensive development.
Advocated for downzoning of county-owned Bengies–Walter Park
Supported zoning changes to stop potential development and preserve the site for public and community use.
Testified and advocated for a Charter change protecting the Urban–Rural Demarcation Line (URDL) — Bill 19-25
Advanced responsible planning policies that preserve open space, limit sprawl, and defend rural and waterfront communities.
Testified in favor of the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (APFO)
